Bhel Puri

Apart from being refreshing, my take on bhel puri makes it not too heavy, easy to digest, fun and completely vegan too!

Ingredients

1 cup puffed rice
1 teaspoon peanuts, crushed and roasted
2 teaspoons red onion, chopped
2 teaspoons tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoons shredded iceberg
1 teaspoon fresh coriander
2 teaspoons lime juice
2 teaspoons dried raisins
1 teaspoon date tamarind chutney
1 teaspoon Hot Toddy Sriracha sauce
Pinch chaat masala

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and drizzle tamarind chutney and Sriracha to taste.
  2. Sprinkle chaat masala, a squeeze of lime juice and lightly toss until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Lastly, fold in chopped herbs.
